Los Altos is one of the larger communities at La Manga Club, in fact Los Altos has been split into two communities. Los Altos one and Los Altos two villas are some of the most sought after properties at this world class resort. Los Altos is aptly named being perched higher up on the foot hills around the club. From here owners and guests get the benefit of the best views at La Manga; standing on your terrace or balcony you can see right over the tranquil, green resort and on to the infinite blue horizon of the sea.
Although perched a little higher on the hills Los altos is incredibly well positioned for ease of access to La Manga’s world class sporting and entertainment facilities and also the shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The tennis academy which now offers week round couching facilities is only a five minute walk away from the Los Altos community. Likewise the shops and the commercial center of La Plaza is also only a short five minute stroll away. Although Los Altos is ideally positioned for accessibility and stunning views it may not be as suitable for families with very young children or the elderly due to the steps and steep inclines.
Los Altos today is a development of over 120 individual villas it is now one of the biggest and best loved communities at the resort. With the choice of five large swimming pools and the communal Oasis pool at the tennis center guests and owners are spoilt for choice. Although there is quite a high number of properties in this area over crowding is not an issue. The villas are spaciously placed around the community with plenty of outdoor space and several beautiful communal landscaped gardens. The various pools have more than adequate sunbathing terraces and area for relaxing.
Los Altos villas were constructed in a traditional rustic style very in keeping with the existing homes in the Costa Calida and Murcia region. Los Altos villas were built to accommodate either two, three or four bedrooms. Elegantly set out over three floors living accommodation is kept to the first two floors whilst the third floor is a very popular sun terrace. The perfect place to entertain friends and enjoy Spanish out-door living or to escape the world below and enjoy some personal sun bathing time. With two additional terraces one accessible directly from the living room it provides a great extension of your living space; the terrace even has a built in barbecue in traditional Spanish style.
Los Altos villas have been built to a very high standard they have everything expected in a modern home and much more. Kitchens and bathrooms are built from high quality marble and granite surfaces and fittings are made from high specification modern stainless steel. Air conditioning is standard in all of the bedrooms making a stay or new home here as comfortable as possible in the hotter months.
All of the Los Altos villas are also able to receive what is known as “Club TV” essentially this means you can receive thirty or so satellite channels in your home without having to pay for a connection. Roughly half of these are English speaking.
