Local airports 'equal less stress'
Travellers taking flights to Spain from local airports is less stressful than travelling through a larger regional airport, it has been asserted.

According to Bournemouth Airport, queuing and moving through security at airports can be one of the most traumatic parts of a holiday - one that most holidaymakers don't enjoy.

However, a spokesperson for the hub added that choosing to fly from a regional airport instead of a more central regional base can reduce queuing time significantly.

"By choosing to go for a regional airport, the average queuing time is like three to five minutes and not 55 minutes," she continued.
