Average holiday handbag contents 'worth £1,100' |

Brits have been urged to take out an adequate travel insurance policy before taking a holiday in Spain or elsewhere this year.
The warning comes after a recent survey by Sheilas' Wheels revealed that the average holidaymaker carries a handbag with contents worth £1,100.
Of those polled, eight per cent said they have credit cards with an available limit of at least £10,000 in their purse.
Furthermore, it was found that the average makeup kit is worth more than £100.

Travel insurance 'is a must when holidaying in Spain' |

Travel insurance is essential when taking a holiday in Spain or elsewhere.
This is according to Paul Thilo, vice-president of Direct Travel Insurance, who said people should view it as an vital purchase.
He noted that the cost of a good policy is very small compared to the expense involved in replacing lost luggage or paying for medical bills.
"I would advise those who are planning a holiday to consider carefully what they wish to be covered for, even if they are travelling on a shoe string," Mr Thilo commented.
