Childrens Football Academy at La Manga Club

A firm favourite with the boys and girls is the football academy which runs throughout the main school holiday weeks at La Manga Club.

The football academy is organised by La Manga Clubs tennis centre staff at the tennis centre and the football coaching academies usually run in the afternoons allowing the children to participate in another activity in the morning. The tennis academies operate in the morning so the childrens football academies normally begin after 3 pm which allows a lunchtime break and means avoiding the midday sun.

They are coached by a football FA/UEFA qualified professional who has played or coached at a professional club plus several young enthusiastic helpers so apart from having a great deal of fun the children receive some excellent football coaching so improving their football skills.

If you are a keen golfer or a novice who wishes to improve your game then the golf facilities at La Manga Club are second to none. With three golf courses, South, North and West, which are maintained to the highest of standards you can enjoy some of the very best courses and facilities in Spain. The South course is the Championship course and therefore a handicap certificate is required.

The new golf academy at La Manga Club

It is hard to imagine how the world famous golf courses and facilities at La Manga Club could be improved The three courses, the South championship course, the North and West are maintained to such an incredibly high standard and popular with visitors and owners at La Manga Club throughout the year due to its sunny all year round climate.

La Manga Club is proud to announce the opening of a brand new golf academy which has been founded by the worlds number one golf instructor and coach to countless PGA Tour, European Tour, LPGA Tour and Champions Tour players, David Leadbetter. There are other Leadbetter academies around the world and they have been and are praised constantly for their innovative and creative teaching techniques.

At La Manga Club, the experienced Leadbetter coaches are led by an Academy Director, currently Laurence Brotheridge.

Private beach at La Manga Club

Bellaluz Village at La Manga Club

Bellaluz is a lively village with the heart of the Club and the accommodation offered at Bellaluz consists of apartments and villas ranging from 1 to 4 bedrooms, the properties are situated in small blocks which are dotted around the central square area.

Bellaluz is a popular community at the club due to it being a self-contained community offering a large 25 metre heated pool and a large childrens pool. The pool area is fenced and residents are provided with a key to access the gate. The pool area is popular with families as there is also a small pool side restaurant which is opened seasonally.

Watersports in La Manga

The Mar Menor is a fantastic location for Watersports as it has warm shallow waters which are non-tidal and safe, there is an English run watersports center called Aqua Adicta which is located just 10 mins drive from La Manga Club. This Watersports center has been running for the past 9 years, they specialise in dinghy sailing, windsurfing and kayaking and also offer SUP (stand up paddle) and power boating. All of the activities are suitable for total beginners or improvers and are run on a private basis so you can book what you want when you want it.

With windsurfing or sailing you can book a single lesson or a course; all courses follow the RYA syllabus.
