A recent study carried out by Mintel revealed that the overseas wedding market has grown by 43 per cent over the past five years, with experts predicting that figure will increase even further as the country enters recession.
Over 51,000 Brits tied the knot abroad in the last year, representing 16 per cent of all marriages, the Telegraph reports.
