 Brits planning to take a holiday in Spain have been advised to shop around in order to get the best currency deals.
According to the Post Office, travellers can end up paying over the odds by changing their cash at the airport.
Sarah Munro, head of travel money at the organisation, said people taking holidays to Spain and elsewhere often mistakenly believe that exchange rates are the same everywhere.
"UK tourists who don't check the rate offered for the currency they need could end up with less money to spend on holiday," she explained.

 Thousands of British families will be packing their bags this weekend and jetting off on holidays to Spain, it has been revealed.
According to flight search site Skyscanner, Malaga and Alicante are the most popular destinations for people travelling abroad over the May bank holiday weekend.
Other hotspots include Tenerife, Belfast and Amsterdam, with Dublin also proving popular.
Skyscanner co-founder and market development director Barry Smith suggested that people are keen to stay close to home after the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland, which led to widespread delays and flight cancellations across most of Europe.
