Holiday Which?, an independent UK consumer body which seeks to provide holidaymakers with unbiased information, noted that those who feel reassured by face-to-face contact could be better visiting a travel agent.
This mode of booking is probably also best suited to technophobes who shy away from booking their flights to Spain online.
"Our research has shown that there are still people out there who like to use a travel agent.
Spanish holidays have been tipped to be in high demand over the May bank holiday break.
According to easyJet, around 450,000 UK travellers are set to fly to hot destinations for the long weekend.
The budget airline claimed that one driving factor making travellers head abroad is the predicted cold and bleak UK weather this weekend.
