Sainsbury's offers warnings for those driving abroad |

Motorists who are planning on driving when they visit foreign shores should make sure that they have the correct insurance, Sainsbury's has advised.
It has been revealed that 17 per cent of people in the UK are planning to take their cars abroad during the forthcoming year.
Sainsburys car insurance manager, Joanne Mallon, commented: "When going on holiday, most people will remember to take travel insurance but we are concerned that some motorists are overlooking the need to ensure that their car journey is fully covered."
Ms Mallon also described how in Spain it is compulsory for drivers to carry a spare wheel and fan belt, which might be good advice for motorists planning Spanish holidays.

Not so, according to a new study, which found that 69 per cent of Brits abroad still prefer to stick to dishes they would eat at home while abroad.
LateRooms.com discovered that 29 per cent of people regard the menu as a barrier, with 61 per cent having accidentally ordered the wrong meal.

Costa Blanca News reveals that a long-term forecast released this week by the Centro de Estudios Ambientales del Mediterraneo states that summer 2008 will be slightly cooler than usual in the months of July and August.
According to experts, high summer season will be humid and cool interspersed with short periods of "intense sunshine".
Also, those planning early summer holidays in Spain may be in luck with the weather if they travel during the coming weeks, as temperatures are expected to "soar".

English football team to train at La Manga Club |

UK football team Gillingham will be taking flights to Spain for pre-season training this summer, it has been reported.
According to Kent Online, the League Two football club will be honing their skills with a week of training at La Manga Club from July 8th 2008.
However, squad members have been assured by manager Mark Stimson that the trip does not amount to a Spanish holiday.
"It's going to involve some serious training and in three or four days we'll be looking to get in 12 sessions, training three times a day," Stimson commented.
