VfB Stuttgart full of praise for training break in La Manga |

German Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart recently stayed at La Manga sports resort and one of the coaching staff has praised the quality of the training camp they had there.
The football centre there has seen many professional clubs come and use its outstanding facilities and accommodation, with the German side the latest to heap compliments on it.
Speaking after four days of a training camp at La Manga, general manager at VfB Stuttgart Horst Heldt described the experience as "very good" and highlighted the "excellent conditions" that they enjoyed.
He commented that the weather was great every day that they trained and singled out the quality of the training pitches for specific praise - stating that they were in "superb condition".

"Unbeatable offer" for travellers booking golf holidays |

People looking to book their golf holidays in Spain this month may be interested in a discount deal being offered by La Manga resort.
Guests at the luxury complex are being offered a free, 18-hole round of golf for each night that they stay there - excluding the night of arrival - with prices starting at 75 per person, per night.
This means that golf enthusiasts will be able to hit the links every day for no extra cost, as well as enjoying their deluxe accommodation, daily buffet breakfast and complimentary access to swimming pools, steam rooms and saunas.
The "unbeatable offer" is available at Hotel La Manga Club Principe Felipe until January 31st 2010 for guests staying for at least three nights.

Cricket tour offer made available for holidays in Spain |

Clubs trying to book holidays in Spain to enjoy a cricket tour this spring may be excited to see that La Manga resort has made a new offer available for selected dates in March.
As well as boasting first-class golf and tennis facilities among other things, the luxury resort also has two regulation club turf cricket pitches and four full length nets.
Now, for certain dates in March, cricket clubs that choose to hold their tour at La Manga Club can get four nights for the price of three by contacting the sports team.
The sports and leisure centre said: "Every cricket club that chooses La Manga Club for training will benefit from the personalised coordination services of our highly experienced sports groups department.
