Britons travelling on flights to Spain via Southampton Airport can look forward to a speedier check-in thanks to recent investments.
Just the Flight reports that new check-in desks and self-service kiosks have been installed as part of a £3 million refit.
Holidaymakers will even be able to check-in before they enter the building via two check-in kiosks situated in the short-stay car park.
"The installation of 13 new check-in facilities will benefit the time-conscious passenger by providing additional choice for check-in," director of planning and development at Southampton Airport Dave Lees observed.

Permission to develop a new Murcia airport has been granted by Spain's Madrid government, it has been revealed.
Round Town News reports that final approval for the new airport at Corvera was given the ok from the Ministry of Development, "delighting" the regional government.

Foreigners travelling on Spanish holidays to the Costa Blanca spent more money on their breaks in the first quarter of 2008 than during the same period in 2007.
According to Typically Spanish, there has been a six per cent increase in the amount of money spent by foreign visitors to the Costa Blanca between January and April this year.
Holidaymakers are reported to have spent in the region of 900 million during this period.
