Art lovers flock to Marbella

Brits taking holidays in Spain this summer can soak up some culture at the annual Festival of International Art in Marbella.

Kicking off on June 19th, the three-day event will feature the work of artists, photographers, sculptors and designers from across Europe, Typically Spanish reports.

"Artists will display their work in individual white tents and the street festival is expected to draw artists and public from far and wide," the website said.

Ryanair introduces new in-flight phone service

Those booking flights to Spain in the future may be interested to learn that Ryanair has introduced a new in-flight mobile phone service on a number of its aircraft.

The OnAir system has so far been installed on 20 planes; however, there are plans to roll the service out across Ryanair's whole fleet.

Michael O'Leary, the airline's chief executive, said this is likely to take place over the next 18 months.


"We expect customer demand for this service to grow rapidly and hope that customers of all UK mobile operators will soon be able to call or text home from 30,000 feet to tell loved ones of yet another on time Ryanair flight," he added.
