With half-term fast approaching, families across the UK will no doubt be planning their holidays to Spain and, according to flight search engine Skyscanner, parents can ease the stress of travelling with kids by following its 'top tips'.
Those travelling with young children are advised to pack economically and prepare for delays by carrying enough essential items such as nappies and baby food.
Checking in early is also advisable, particularly for large families that want to sit together.
Providing children with toys to keep them amused is a must; however, holidaymakers are advised to leave messy games and noisy objects at home.
"Wrap up toys - this adds novelty value - enthusiastic use of sticking tape will slow the child down as well," Skyscanner said.
A recent survey by foreign exchange group Travelex found that the majority of Brits have already planned their next holiday, with 45 per cent of respondents planning a break in Europe.
