According to travel writer Fred Mawer, one way to cut costs is by opting for an all-inclusive of half-board break, which can shield holidaymakers from the worst of currency fluctuations.

Other top tips for holidays in Spain include eating a large lunch and a small dinner, with food prices often increasing in the evening.
Brits can also save money by cutting back on tips five per cent is perfectly acceptable in Spain.
Meanwhile, Lee Hayhurst, travel editor of the Travel Trade Gazette told the BBC this week that despite the strength of the euro, Britons will continue to head to Spain in their droves.
