If you have decided to spend your holiday at La Manga Club this year, planning your getaway could not be easier, the La Manga website, http://www.lamangarentals.com has been designed to make the planning, booking and run up to your holiday as pleasurable and stress free as it possibly can be. Unless you are already familiar with the resort it is a great idea to spend some time exploring the website. It will give you a taster of whats in store, albeit only an online representation of the great atmosphere and excitement that awaits you when you arrive. The website is split neatly into different sections where you can investigate the various accommodation options, check out all the sporting activities; explore the spa, take a recky round the restaurants and find out about up and coming events.
The first thing you’re likely to want to sort out for your forthcoming holiday is your accommodation. Accommodation at La Manga Club is split into three categories. There’s the five-star Hotel Principe Felipe, the four star Las Lomas Village studios, apartments and townhouses and finally there’s a selection of villas. No matter whether you opt for five-star opulence, at the heart of the resort or a Las Lomas Village studio apartment, at La Manga Club, you can be sure that the quality you get will be second to none. With a whole range of suites, club and standard rooms, there truly is something for everyone. Add to this, the outside heated pool and the restaurant and bar facilities and the Hotel Principe Felipe is a great choice no matter the time of year.
If you prefer self-catering to a hotel environment, Las Lomas Village is the perfect choice for singles, couples, groups and families. Relaxed comfort is the key at Las Lomas and with this well-equipped home-from-home accommodation, you might even find yourself struggling to budge from your terrace! In addition to Las Lomas, La Manga Club has a range of exclusive villa options, many with their own pools, all only a stone’s throw from the resort’s facilities, giving you a further option if you want something out of the ordinary. Either way, once you’ve chosen your accommodation, the website has all the information you need to book online or you can phone or Skype, if you prefer human contact.
Once you have your accommodation sorted out, it’s a good idea to start making a list of activities you may want to pre-book. Once again, the website is your best port of call for this task, but as you’d expect, there’s always help at the end of the phone line if you need it. You really will find something for everyone at the activity-packed La Manga resort, enabling you to plan your holiday with as much or as little precision as you please (some people prefer to leave their choices to the last minute!).
Once you have your accommodation sorted out and you’re getting excited about your activities, it’s time to think about your journey to the resort. With a whole host of UK flight options, you shouldn’t struggle to get yourself a great deal flight wise. No matter whether you choose to head for Alicante or Murcia (San Javier) airport you’ll have a choice of cheap airlines such as Ryanair, BMI Baby, Jet2 and easyJet to get you there in relative comfort at a price that won’t break the bank. Alternatively, you could of course opt to take the scenic route and cross the channel with your car.
If you plump for a flight, from the airport, you can either choose car hire, if you want the freedom of a car during your stay or avail of an airport taxi. With Murcia (San Javier) Airport a mere 20 minutes away from the resort, you should expect to pay only around 50 euro for a taxi. Alicante on the other hand, is that bit further and will cost you around 130 euro, which is a pretty good deal if there are three or four of you. When it comes to car hire, you’ll be able to sort that out online too. Simply do a Google search for “car hire Alicante Airport” or “car hire Murcia San Javier Airport” and you’ll be astounded at the number of results you get, but do take time to shop around so you secure yourself the best possible deal.
OK, so let’s imagine you’ve got everything sorted out and you’ve now arrived at the resort. It’s time to do a bit of exploring and a bit of planning on-site. You may well want to book some treatments at the spa, some tables in the restaurants and a few sporting activities. If so, it’s a good idea to get these sorted out as soon as you know you plans, that way there’s no chance of being disappointed.
Let’s just say, however you go about planning your holiday at La Manga Club, you can be sure that a really warm welcome, and a fun-packed holiday to remember await you. Enjoy!
