Brits planning to take flights to Spain in the near future may be interested to learn that budget airline Flybe is expecting a bumper Easter.
Ticket sales for the regional airline are up by 16 per cent compared to the same period in 2009.
Good Friday is expected to be the carrier's busiest day, with thousands of people set to take flights to Spain and other popular destinations.
Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer, commented: "Flying to and from 70 regional UK and European airports, Flybe is in a better position than any other regional airline to meet the demands over what is one of the busiest travel periods of the year."
The airline currently operates services from hubs including Manchester, Belfast and London Gatwick.
According to ABTA The Travel Association, two million Brits are set to leave the country over the coming days, with Spain proving to be the most popular overseas destination for travellers.
