When you choose to holiday at La Manga Club, you can choose to get as involved or not, in the nightlife as you wish, tt may well be that you are happy to sit quietly on your terrace, reflecting on a busy day on the golf course or the tennis court, or it may be that you cannot wait to get your glad rags on and step out in style. Either way, glad rags or shorts and flip-flops, there is a whole host of evening entertainment options at La Manga.
If you fancy a quick cocktail or aperitif before you dine, you could head for the Piano Lounge Bar or Mulligans, two of the main bars on the resort. The Piano Bar is situated in the Hotel Principe Felipe and offers an impressive range of cocktails in the classy and stylish setting you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Mulligans, on the other hand, is a pub that offers great grub and impressive sports coverage on their giant TV screen, as well as a pool table and WIFI. With regular party nights and live music, you can even take part in Mulligans Thursday evening X-Pat Factor Karaoke.
When it comes to restaurants, you can choose to go as upmarket or as relaxed as you choose. If you really want to push the boat out, why not head to Amapola in the hotel? As the hotel’s flagship restaurant, Amapola is as impressive as you’d expect. Focused on Mediterranean cuisine, Amapola truly is an experience to savour and perfect for a special occasion. If you fancy something a bit more Eastern in its style, Asia Restaurant, which is to be found at Las Sabinas offers true South East Asian meat and vegetarian cuisine against a stylish backdrop. La Bodega is a La Manga experience not to be missed. With its impressive range of tapas and extensive Spanish wine list, you’ll be forgiven for feeling almost Spanish yourself!
If you fancy a bit of romance a deux, there’s no doubt that you need to make your way to La Cala, which sits high on a rock next to the sea. Where better to enjoy a meal, overlooking the sunset? Not surprisingly, La Cala’s focus is fish and seafood. Thereafter, for a casual affair, there’s Luigis and Uncle Sam’s American Restaurant. Both of these lively eateries offer delicious food and a great buzzy atmosphere. Luigis, as you’d imagine serves great, traditional Italian pizzas and pastas while Uncle Sam’s is more of a TGI Friday-type experience. For lots of reasons, both are not to be missed.
When it comes to snacking, again La Manga delivers every time. There’s the hotel Lobby Bar and the Sol Y Sombra, both of which offer pretty much all-day snacking and Sol Y Sombra opens for lunch during high season. If golf is your bag, then you’re likely to be drawn to Bar 37 at the Club House or Tie Break if you’re into tennis. Both of these venues offer breakfast and lunch either inside or out and benefit from WIFI, if you feel as if you need to get back in touch with the real world! And, while you’re picking up your supplies at the mini market, you can enjoy breakfast or a snack at the Deli Café.
All in all, there’s no doubt that evenings are a big affair at La Manga, that said, the resort is so focused on making sure you have a great time that the entertainment extends pretty much all day long. All that’s left to say is “Enjoy!”.
