| The Las Higueras Villa at La Manga Club in Spain |

The Las Higueras villa community at La Manga Club is located in a quiet and secluded location on the edge of La Manga Club. Each one of the 52 Las Higueras villas has its own private garden and private swimming pool, with large roof-top sun terraces offering superb views across the Club, plus a further patio area with a BBQ. Las Higueras villas have 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to a maximum of 8 guests.
Due to the location of the Las Higueras villas, we strongly recommend that you hire a car, as most of the facilities at the Club are located approximately 10 - 12 minutes walk away. There is a covered car port at each Las Higueras villa, so your car will be sheltered from the sun.
Car hire can be arranged from both Murcia and Alicante airports and full driving directions, plus a map of the Club, will be sent to you with your Final Holiday Confirmation. If you prefer, we can reserve your own private taxi or minibus transfer from the airport and then have a vehicle delivered to you at your Las Higueras villa. For those not wishing to drive on holiday, mountain bikes can be hired through the Activity Centre, which is approximately 15 minute's walk from the Las Higueras villa community.

When you book your accommodation through us, your Las Higueras villa will be cleaned and prepared, ready for you to enjoy your holiday right from the start. All towels for the bathroom and linen are included in your booking. All you need to take with you from home is a towel for the pool.
There will be a Welcome Grocery Pack waiting for you, which will contain all the essentials, such as tea, coffee, water, bread milk etc. everything you need to prepare a snack after a long, exhausting days' travelling. If your flight means that you do not arrive at your accommodation until late evening, you will be able to make breakfast the following morning, so that you do not immediately have to rush out to the shops.
The lively Bellaluz village is within a 10 minute walk of the Las Higueras villas, where you will find several bars and restaurants. In Bellaluz Square, which has been completely refurbished recently, is the La Manga Club laundry so that should you not wish to make use of all the excellent facilities in your Las Higueras kitchen, which will have a washing machine as standard, you can arrange for your washing to be done for you.

Also in Bellaluz Square is a small but extremely well-stocked supermarket, so that you should never have to go without those essential supplies. The main supermarket at the Club is located near the Tennis Centre, around 10 minutes away from the Las Higueras villas and they offer a full delivery service, very useful if you decide not to hire a car.
Also close to the Tennis Centre is the German Bakery, which sells a wonderful selection of pastries and fresh bread and offers an alternative location for a light lunch. |

Your Las Higueras villa will have a telephone, from where you can make calls free of charge to anywhere else at the Club. You can therefore arrange a relaxing spa treatment, a round of golf or reserve a table in one of the 25 restaurants at the Club, without having to leave your Las Higueras villa. Public telephones can also be found at various locations around the Club.
If you need to make external calls during your holiday, the on site Management Company can arrange to have the telephone activated in your Las Higueras villa. This will allow you to make calls anywhere in the world. Your calls will be monitored and at the end of your stay an itemised statement will be given to you for payment, which will be charged at the local telephone company's standard rate.

The Las Higueras villa community is also within a 5 minute walk of the Telephone Excahnge on La Manga Club, from where you can make calls, send and receive faxes or access your emails, for a small charge. The computers there are all broadband. If you are taking your own laptop computer, you can use this in your Las Higueras villa accommodation, by having the telephone activated and dialling in to your own Internet Service Provider.
Your Las Higueras villa will have at least one television, which will give you a choice of around 30 satellite channels, about half of them in English. Many of the villas will also have a video or DVD player, so your children will be able to enjoy their favourite characters on TV. There are also bars at the Club which cover live sporting activities, so there's no need for anybody to miss out on that special event.
La Manga Club is famous for its 3 golf courses, all of which are of a championship standard. The north and west courses can be played by everybody, but a handicap certificate is required for the south course. For golfers staying at Las Higueras villas who want to take their own clubs from home, there are storage facilities at the Clubhouse, or clubs can also be hired locally. We recommend that you reserve your tee times in advance, to be sure of getting your preferred time.
Times are usually allocated as a 3 or 4 ball at busy periods, so that everybody has a chance of playing. If you would like to improve your game, you may like to enrol in the Golf Academy. This is available for everybody, from beginners to the more expert golfers. |

If tennis is your game, there are also 5 day tennis academies, which run all through the year from Monday to Friday. These coaching sessions are organised by qualified Pros and are for all levels of play. Due to the popularity of the tennis academy, we would suggest that you reserve your place well in advance, when you have booked your Las Higueras villa accommodation, in order to avoid disappointment, as there are only a small number of places and they are extremely popular. Further academies are available for the children in football dance and cricket, all of which run during school holidays, but pre-booking is essential.
Also located at the Tennis Centre is Junior Club, which is an air-conditioned unit run by qualified staff, that offers organised fun activities for children from the ages of 3 months up to 12 years. The youngsters are grouped by age and activities are tailored according to the needs of each group.
There is a large, fully enclosed outdoor play area, with swings and a climbing frame and a multi-sport pitch to fully entertain your children, while you spend some time on your own, relaxing by your own Las Higueras swimming pool or playing tennis. As with all activities at La Manga Club, we do recommend that you pre-book places in Junior Club, which can be by the hour, or full and half day sessions.
While your children enjoy the fun of Junior Club, you may like to have a change of scene and visit the Oasis swimming pool, which is close by. This is available for everybody staying at the Club to use and sun loungers are there for hire. There is a snack bar which is open during the summer months. You therefore will have access to your own private swimming pool at your Las Higueras villa and the Oasis community swimming pool at the la manga tennis centre.
