From 1st November 2009 the weekly competitions’ entries and rules will be amended as follows; all existing bookings for competitions made prior to this date will be honoured until December 31st 2009.
• Golf competitions are open to all players and will be weekly on Mon-Wed-Fri on any course.
• Entry forms are available on the Owners’ web site or from golf administration.
• Entries open 15 days prior and will close 48 hours before competition date.
• BETTER BALL:
* Single entrants are welcome to this event however their entry will be held pending another single entrant, thereby making a pair.
* Starting sheet with tee time slots will be held in golf admin. When an entry is received a start time will be allocated.
* Players cancelling less than 48 hours prior to the competition are advised that when no reserves are available they are expected to introduce a stand in player or a marker. Failure to comply may resolve in a four week competition exclusion.
• MEDAL & INDIVIDUAL STABLEFORD:
* In general players will be allocated a tee time in handicap order. However flexibility may be exercised.
• When a green fee is required entrants may prepay the green fee at the time of competition entry. This would allow the entrant to avoid check-in at golf admin.
• The entry fee must be paid by all players at time of entry. Bookings by phone fax or email will not be accepted if the entry fee is not paid at time of entry.
• All players are required to be at the appointed tee 5 minutes before their starting time.
• Players’ requests will be considered whenever possible, however specific starting times cannot be guaranteed.
• All competition score cards must be delivered to golf admin within 30 minutes of the match finishing. Late presentation will render the card invalid.
• Prize vouchers will be valid for six months from date of receipt. All existing vouchers will be respected until June 30th 2010.
• Directions given by the marshals should be respected at all times. In the event a marshal advises a group during a competition that time has been lost, the group must endeavour to make up the lost ground. Should the marshal need to speak for a second time to the group later in the round, the marshal is required to inform golf admin who may penalise with a 2 shot or 2 point penalty for each player in the group.
• Players may provide the club with their suggestions in writing for any constructive improvements which might benefit the club organisation. |
