Los Olivos Golf Course is much more organized and comprehensive golf course. The narrow fairways of Los Olivos course are arranged with native trees such as soft wispy willows, ancient olive and tall pine. It offers the course a feel of natural parkland.
It is more appropriate to golfers who like advanced technical facility and precision in the game. It has 19 holes. Hole 1 is typically followed by rest of the holes. One does not need any driver and he can play easily down the middle. Hole 3 is quite interesting where the entire green area is bunker protected, tricky and undulating.
At hole 5 long hitters can carry the corner for a shorter second shot where the whole green area also is bunker protected. Similarly, hole 7 is also a great hole if one is playing from the back tees. One has to carry 2 lakes and after that the second shot is to be moved up and leveled green. Hole 8 is quite tough par 3 on the Los Olivos course with a lake to the left side and roll kers of the green on the right side.
It is a very fine hole from the tee after golfers ball is safely on the green. Hole 12 of Los Olivos is a dogleg to the right where long hitters can cut the curve over the plants or trees. The entire green area is protected all around. Hole 17 contains some fairway bunkers that one needs to decide if one can hit over or not when standing on the tee.
Its green is great to play for the right side. Hole 18 is a par 5 dogleg to the right side with water on the left side, which can be carried by a big hit leaving possibility to reach the green in two and the green is bunker protected.
Los Logos Golf Course is also a good golf course and has lots of facilities for players. This course gives quite an open feel because the area is surrounded with fewer trees and the area is little rough. Los Logos is scattered on one hundred and fifty acres of land, which is a flat land with sights of the Sierra de Mijas Mountains, has various trees and plants ranging from jacaranda to Araucalia Pines.
Los Lagos is a great course to play. Its hole four is a long par four for the big hitters with the bunker on the right side. Hole 8 is one of the longest par 3 at the distance of 200 meters and having water everywhere. Hole 11 is quite shorter par 3, and the green is again water surrounded. Hole 16 is a small dogleg to the right thus one should drive to the left side of the fairway. |
