Los Belones the closest town to La Manga Club

Los Belones is the nearest village to La Manga Club and is a very typical Spanish village. Los Belones is no more than a 5 minute drive from the entrance to La Manga Club and with plenty of street parking is well worth a visit.

The small central square has recently been refurbished and looks extremely smart opposite the very old church which is undoubtedly the central focus of Los Belones. There is a small weekly market off of the square which is mainly a fruit and vegetable market for the locals but in the summer months it expands a little selling clothes, shoes etc. Please check with our on site management regarding the day of the week this is held. The side streets of Los Belones are mainly residential.

Los Belones has a superb Bodega which is immediately on your left as you enter Los Belones village form La Manga Club. Prices are comparable to the UK but the wine selection is second to none and with reasonably priced shipping its very tempting to sample and send home.

There are lots of shops in the centre of Los Belones ranging from butchers, bakers to ironmongers, golf shop, electricals etc.

There are several coffee bars and a patisserie, which in the summer months has an ice cream parlour open next door.Eating in La Manga Club is extremely varied with over 25 restaurants on site but a short drive or taxi into Los Belones opens up a further selection available from fabulous Italian, Asian and typically Spanish food. Prices are slightly cheaper than on the Club. The restaurants are dotted all over the Los Belones, but as you enter into Los Belones immediately on your right you will see a building which houses 3 or 4 with a lively internal square and eating al fresco.

If you take a taxi into Los Belones it might be advisable to book a return journey or take a contact number as there is no taxi rank. If you are eating in one of the Los Belones restaurants they will be only to glad to assist in calling a taxi for you. On a lovely sunny day and all else fails it is walkable back to the glorious haven of La Manga Club within 45 minutes.
