Golf Academy at La Manga Club
La Manga Club is recognised as one of Europe’s leading golf resorts. It has three superb 18 hole courses, fantastic practice facilities and a mild, sunny climate all year round. The Golf Academy is sure to improve your game, whatever standard you are, from a total beginner to a tour professional. The sessions include traditional teaching methods from the team of experienced PGA qualified golf instructors and the Club also has the very latest in digital coaching technology, which will give you the opportunity of closely examining any faults in your game.
Adult Golf Academy
The full Golf Academy programme runs throughout the year for 5 days, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 12.00pm and covers all aspects of the game. Top quality Callaway clubs can be provided for the course if required, or alternatively you can use your own if preferred. Everyone who enrols on the course will receive a La Manga Club Academy of Golf shirt and cap.
A shorter 3 day course is offered for golfers who want to improve their game and is a combination of lessons at the academy in the morning and playing on the courses during the afternoon. There is also a 3 day course for complete beginners and those with high handicaps. Both of these take place from Monday to Wednesday, 9.00am to 12.00pm.
Additionally, there is a 2 day ‘Quick Fix’ course, on either Thursday and Friday, or Saturday and Sundays, which has proven to be extremely popular with all levels of golfers.
Please note that the shorter Golf Academy courses do not run during school holidays.
Junior Golf Academy
Especially designed as introductory courses for children aged from 5 to 12 years, the Junior Golf Academy runs each weekday morning during the Easter and Summer school holidays. The duration and content of the lesson is adapted to each age group, which are for the 5 to 8 year olds and those from 9 to 12 years. They offer an ideal opportunity for your children to make new friends and learn new skills, under the watchful eye of the La Manga Club golf professionals.
Private Lessons
Individual lessons can be arranged for anyone not able to attend the whole academy course, which are for either 30 or 60 minute sessions and are on a one-to-one basis. These are available on weekday afternoons and at weekends.
Booking the Golf Academy
As places are limited on the golf academy courses, we do strongly recommend that you reserve your place in advance, in order not to be disappointed. You can reserve your place by sending your request to Golf Administration by email, golf@lamangaclub.es and advising them which course you would like to join. Places will be confirmed on receipt of valid credit card details, which have to be supplied at the time of booking. |
