Does La Manga Club have a beach
La Manga Club has its own small cove beach on the Mediterranean sea and there is also the La Manga del Mar Menor, which offers some great sandy beaches, with calm warm water, within a 10 / 15 minute drive of the Club.
La Manga Club beach is called La Cala beach and has a great seafood restaurant, aptly named La Cala Restaurant which is open from the end of May until September. When the restaurant is open the courtesy bus operates to and from the beach at regular intervals. This attractive small beach at La Cala is set against a stunning backdrop of cliffs and during the summer offers a full range of facilities.
There are some great beaches along the Mar Menor which offer a wide range of watersports and some good beach restaurants. The Mar Menor beaches are particularly popular with families with young children, because the warm, shallow water offers bathing and swimming for all ages. |
