 Diving for Children at La Manga Club in Spain
Childrens Diving Courses at La Manga Club.
Open your childs eyes today to the other 75% of the Earth's surface.
Children have to be only 8 years old to discover the secrets of the underwater world. Adventure divers who are based at La Manga Club have special diving equipment for children.
For children less than 8 years old Adventure Divers can provide guided snorkelling tours.
Snorkelling.
These are guided tours for snorkelling in a variety of sheltered bays around La Manga where your child will discover the thrill of interacting with the marine life and see many species of marine life such as small fish, hard and soft corals, invertebrates such as starfish and sea cucumbers. These diving tours usually last 2 hours and have no age limit but children under 6 years are advised to be accompanied by an adult. Adventure divers can also arrange tours for the family too.
Bubble makers course.
Children from as young as 8 years old can participate in this safety first introduction to diving. This 2- 2-½ hour course gives them a chance to experience the thrill and excitement of breathing underwater using scuba equipment in the safe confines of a pool environment which is conducted under the direct supervision of a PADI professional, whilst you the parents can take a couple of hours
to relax knowing your children are in safe hands.
It provides a fun and exciting opportunity for youngsters and is an excellent stepping-stone towards discovering the underwater world and building confidence. You don’t have to worry about the weather either as the pool at Las Lomas is heated so we can dive rain or shine!
Once children have finished their first experience in scuba diving they receive a certificate. Before children can follow a full instructional course and become certified divers they have to be 12 years old.
Discover Scuba Diving.(Pool and Sea).
This course is excellent for people who have a morning to experience the
underwater world where you will complete a short pool session with
scuba, and then be taken to the sea for your dive in the clear warm waters full of aquatic life whilst under the close supervision of your instructor.
Duration: Approximately 4 hours. For ages 12 years and above.
When they are 12 years old children can follow the Padi Junior Programs Padi Junior Scuba Diver and/ or Padi Open Water Diver.
Since 2003 Adventure Divers Club also offers a range of programs for advanced dive kids.
If they already have a certificate on the beginners level, have some dive experience and are 12 years old they can take the Padi courses: Junior Adventure Diver, Junior Advanced Open Water Diver and Junior Rescue Diver.
For children younger than 12 years an instructional course often stays within the range of a Bubble maker course.
