La Manga Club has 2 artificial grass cricket pitches and 4 full-length practice cricket nets, which have been used by U.K. and European cricket teams for their pre-season training.
A Junior Cricket Academy is being run during the May half term and for 2 weeks during the summer holidays. It is being led by Ian Hutchinson, who is a former Middlesex opening batsman during the 1990s and is now Head of Cricket at Mill Hill School in London. He is also involved with the selection and coaching of some of the Middlesex cricket squads.
The cricket academy takes place during the afternoons from Monday to Friday, for boys and girls from the ages of 7 to 15 years, who have an interest in cricket. All equipment is provided and daily cricket sessions can be booked, subject to availability.
