"Andy Harrison, chief executive of easyJet, said he was sure that the airline's passengers would support this worthy cause.
"There are over five million people with dementia in Europe so it's not surprising that staff across the continent chose Alzheimer's Society as the 2009 charity of the year," he added.
Rival airline Ryanair last year raised money for Dublin's Simon Community through sales of its annual cabin crew calendar.
Budget airline easyJet is following in the footsteps of Ryanair and slashing fares on dozens of its routes.
The carrier has knocked 25 per cent off flights to Spain and other destinations, including those departing during Easter and half-term.
Those looking to avail of the discounted flights must make their booking before January 13th, the airline said.
The decision to cut prices comes just a day after the Telegraph reported that up to six million holidays will be booked this month.
Some of the Spanish destinations served by easyJet include Alicante and Malaga, which are both within driving distance of La Manga Club.
